Review by hotel critic
Sperone is a hidden gem in the heart of Split, a true oasis tucked away from the city's hustle and bustle. The exceptional service from hostesses Christina and Jacks truly made my stay unforgettable; they provided fantastic recommendations for dining and sightseeing, going above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. The modern and spotless room exceeded all expectations, with thoughtful touches like a well-stocked mini-bar, plush robes, and slippers creating a luxurious experience. The air conditioning was a godsend in the summer heat, allowing for a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring the nearby Marjan Park and historic sites just a short stroll away. The hotel's proximity to renowned restaurants like Konoba Marjan and Trattoria Tinel made dining a delight, and the tranquil courtyard offered a peaceful escape for savoring a morning coffee or a glass of Croatian wine. Sperone is a true standout, embodying the warmth and hospitality of Croatia, and I cannot wait to return to this idyllic haven soon.
